We are reminded in the forward that we shouldn't get the impression that raising chinchillas is hazardous and that actually chinchillas are very hardy animals that adapt easily to their environment. Still there are health problems that can arise (even if they are very unlikely). Most health problems follow the general format of: Symptoms, Cause, Treatment and Prevention. The book is basically photocopied typewritten pages with a few crude hand-drawn images. Although this book was written for commericial ranchers, we consider it a very valuable addition to our "chinchilla library." |
